This is Transcendence, a project in pursuit of unraveling some of life's ​most profound mysteries through art.

The story follows David Popa, an earth artist, venturing out to Utah to ​take on the biggest project of his career. With no real direction of ​what he wanted to create, David let the otherworldly landscapes ​dictate what would be made. Seeing so viscerally the way the textures, ​colors, and rock formations looked like the birth place of all of ​creation, an idea knocked at David's door. The idea to present the ​cycle of life.

This conviction opened the floodgates of creative potential and ​brought forth a transcendent storyline to unfold. Spending four days ​in the ethereal desert put David through a painfully blissful process of ​four murals which all intimately speak into the mysteries of our ​humanity. This documentary not only captures the journey, but takes ​you into the mind of David and his humbling experience of the ​transcendent.
